Credit where due

OK, so it's expensive at a time when other programs are being cut. And, yes it's political. Of course it's f-in political! That's what we (s)elect them for: to be political, if they don't do that, they deserve to be fired by us--and by extension, anyone who claims to be a buddy you could knock back a cold one with rather than a politician doesn't deserve our vote.

OK, that having been said, as I've blogged before, this mission to Moon/Mars is an excellent idea. Many good things can and should come out of this.
