Milking The Prostate...

...of the oilwells.

This week's guests on MTP:
Secretary of Energy Samuel Bodman, American Petroleum Institute President & CEO Red Cavaney, CNBC's Jim Cramer, Assistant Democratic Leader Sen. Dick Durbin (D-IL), and NBC Global Energy Analyst Daniel Yergin, author of the Pulitzer-winning book, "The Prize: The Epic Quest for Oil, Money & Power."
I guess they didn't have an extra chair available for a representative from CEI. When you have Jim Cramer as one of the most knowledgeable contributors to a panel dealing with conservation and energy efficiency, you know we still have a long, long way to go.

Cavaney: We need to drill more
Bodman: It's the environmentalist Congress fault, we need to drill more
Durbin: We need to plant more corn
Yergin: Uhm, wasn't there something about this being a demand-based crisis?
Cavaney: Drilling more is tantamount to conservation
Bodman: Agreed, conservation is just talk
Durbin: Corn is good
Cramer: Import more ethanol from Brazil
Durbin: Corn
All [in unison]: Drill more.
