The god of think tanks

Our old friend Roy Spencer:
Meanwhile, a new group calling itself the Interfaith Stewardship Alliance (ISA) has joined the fray by calling for prudence in how the global warming threat is approached. The ISA, in which I participate, tries to point out that the biggest threat to the poor is, not surprisingly, poverty.
Hmmh. Interesting, a third group of evangelicals opining on global warming. Who are these people one might ask...?

Douglas E. Daugherty, Sr., President, Chattanooga Resource Foundation, Tennessee

Stephen Hayward, Fellow, American Enterprise Institute

Gary Kass, President, Reclaiming America for Christ

Rabbi Daniel Lapin, President, Toward Tradition

Fr. Richard John Neuhaus, President, Institute on Religion and Public Life

Jay W. Richards, Research Fellow, Acton Institute for the Study of Religion and Liberty

Dr. Robert Royal, President, Faith and Reason Institute

Dr. Herb Schlossberg, Senior Research Associate, Ethics and Public Policy Center

Rev. Dr. Jim Tonkowich, President, Institute on Religion and Democracy

Alan Wisdom, Interim President, Institute on Religion and Democracy
Plus a bunch of religious folk and Roy Spencer himself. Interesting mix of people. Of course, all self-righteous people know that Al Gore is the real corporate whore by owning stock and allowing mineral extraction on part of his property, something the people listed above would never, never do. Especially not while telling people their interpretation of the Bible when it comes to individual recycling and driving habits is wrong and hurts the poor.
