Christian warning labels
In the successful tradition of Maffeo Barberini, evolution may still be discussed in schools as long as it is treated as a theory.
In a related story, Richard Dawkins, author of the Selfish Gene, has a new book out that also has a commentary on the contemporary topic at hand, which the author retrospectively probably wouldn't want in there after all:
"I know perfectly well that these people are not stupid but ignorant. Ignorance is no crime and it is easily cured by education. What annoys me is the religious groups who actively work to prevent scientific education. And it doesn't just annoy me. It annoys respectable theologians who worry that creationism besmirches the reputation of true religion."
