OK here is the news

The post below on Chris Mooney's book was my last (cross-) post on The All Spin Zone. For reasons that should become obvious within the next few hours may or may not become obvious sometime this week, I'm [probably] back here exclusively. The "announcement", as I had envisioned it on Friday involved converting this blog into friends-and-family only and to create another blog, named after Ben Franklin's pseudonym 'Silence Dogwood' in the "Courant," for political satire. Needless to say, that isn't going to happen. We chose instead to give this blog a new image, and to work on re-establishing our original readership here (Matt and others, will you come back here every so often now?) and possibly bringing some ASZ readers with us (god I'd just *love* see song lyrics in my comments section). We've got a little more work to do on the site, like trying to get rid of that weird line between the post column and the sidebar and working out the name thing a bit ("Sir Oolius"??), but other than that we hope you'll like it here.
