Germany is dying!

Since I'll be there later on this week, I just couldn't resist.

New car registration? Nearly 15 per cent lower than in 1999. General nuttiness? A third of Germans under 30 think the United States government was responsible for the terrorist attacks of September 11."

Leaving aside for the moment that Mark Steyn calling anyone nutty should be considered a compliment, these sorts of "mass poverty and low taxes on the wealthy is better than welfare and social services" articles come out relatively regularly. But I suppose that following Katrina and the German election, these fuckers have some catching up to do.
