A few months ago I blogged about cartoons portraying science and scientists, and how the websites that publish these cartoons are now being threatened by extremists for publishing cartoons deemed offensive by the science bullies.

Things came to a head over the past week. As this collection of photos tagged as "scientists" on Flickr demonstrates, the scientists' reaction is insane:






Much of this unhinged reaction began when an extremist scientist bully posted the following caricatures on his website. For posterity sake, here are the forbidden cartoons:







The word is unhinged.

Where's the MSM on this?

Update: The origin of the above cartoons was first exposed by some random obscure blogger. According to him, they are fake. Here, instead are the real cartoons:

Update2: I have e-mailed PZ Myers, who runs the bullying website, to comment on the bogus cartoons. So far no word.
