Darfur

What is going on with the Darfur situation? While I'm posting foreign policy stuff, congratulations to the Iraqis for voting! Back to Darfur: the US wanted a genocide finding from the UN, and that sounds right and good, given the 70K that died. But we're against the ICC, so we're opposed to the ICC handling the matter now that the UN ruled it wasn't genocie? If not an international crime, then what is it? Can someone in the who knows the law in the US blogosphere please post something on this?
