But how does it withstand this?
This is actually a really old story that I recognized recently didn’t get around as much as I had thought. Besides the support of Snopes.com I have a friend (not just "the friend" of urban legends) who was a resident at Stanford when this patient came in. So, if you have the stomach for it, click on and see larger photos of the human brain exposed and infested with maggots.
