This week's selection was a white Chateauneuf du Pape, the 2003 Clos Saint Michel. Complex nose, apple and pear-citrus flavor with a very soft finish. With this treat we enjoyed pork with a cranberry/port sauce. The strong flavors of the wine nicely complemented a meal, that would have normally been paired with a red wine, very nicely.
