...because nothing says 'I support our troops' more than drilling for oil in a wildlife refuge:

When our troops in Iraq are fighting for democracy in that country they can proudly point to Sen. Stevens for overruling centuries-old democratic traditions of debate and minority rights to simply get the job done.
