Technically...

WSJ: Abramoff Schmabramoff, what really matters is that the public perceives both parties to be equally corrupt. That having been said, Democrats are actually a little more corrupt than Republicans because they started it.

NBC: Then there's Katie Matt and Punkinhead on GMA just a minute ago saying something to the effect that technically Howard Dean was correct yesterday, however if you look at where Abramoff's clients donated money...[graphic pops up that makes it look like Abramoff primarily donated money to politicians through his clients]...then clearly Democrats are equally involved because they got 34% of the money.

Now what's a public to perceive?
