phone stalkers
This might eventually become a "stories of the fam" post, but for now the question is, has anyone else ever had someone who would call a given number again and again in full knowledge of the fact that the number does not correlate with the person they're trying to reach?
My cell phone had a Chinese lady calling at least three times a day up until a while ago when I finally was able to convince her of the futility of that act. Our phone number in Oregon had someone from Tennessee calling over and over even after we had told her it was the wrong number. Here in Philly, a blind lady who only lives a few blocks away calls again and again. We've spoken to her and have altered our voicemail message so that she knows she needs to try again if she wants to call the front desk of her condominium building for help. That somehow aggrevated her. Sheesh!
On the one hand, I can excuse the blind lady because, well, she don't see the numbers. On the other hand, who doesn't have speed-dial these days? Couldn't someone buy her a speed-dial programmable phone and program the front desk into said phone?
I'm feeling somewhat alone in this matter, like we're the only ones who have old ladies constantly calling the wrong number. So here's the question of the day: has anyone else had similar situations? Write it in the comments!
