Bi-weekly Kos?
Since the lovely Anita Job had some work-related things to do in Portland last Thursday night (she doesn't actually "need a job" in the traditional sense of the phrase), I was able to attend the Portland Drinking Liberally, a bi-weekly gathering of moonbats held at the Lucky Lab (spelled with a Y, not an I).
After attending San Diego's DL last December and being disappointed by the small number of attendees--"not even" TBogg would attend because he had a cold--I was surprised by the large gathering at Portland's DL. They said their crowd regularly exceeds 40 people and sometimes the entire bar is filled only with DLers (it's a semi-large space, so that'd be well over 100). In fact, there were so many people there that I didn't have a chance to meet with even a small number of them. I did, however, finally have the pleasure of meeting Nothstine (pronounced "Note"-stine) in person. And, I was directed towards a blog named The Flammable Skirt. Figuring that I link to both The Tattered Coat and A Black Dress, "TFS" should round out the selection of blogs named after articles of clothing in the sidebar quite nicely. We'll see when I get around to changing the template. It may actually happen before I decide which job offer to accept.
