Santorum is good?

Noz and I were just wondering about the new Santorum billboards displayed along major highways in the area [blue background]:

SANTORUM IS GOOD
FOR SENATE!

Noz pointed out the grammatical error [is our children learning?]. But more so than that, what is up with this billboard? Is that the best the Santorum campaign can come up with? I mean really: it's just under 3 weeks until the election and all the campaign can say about their candidate is, hey, he ain't bad! Oh yeah, like that's convincing!
