See I dont get the nuclear winter theory. In the 40s and 50s we had numerous nuclear bomb tests as well as the two bombs dropped on japan.

The only way to tell for sure is a full scale experiment.
Nuke top three targets of choice, Damascus, Teheran, and Pyongyang spring to mind.

... Science is in severe danger in the West today. I have watched in horror as the once noble Lancet publishes wantonly false data about Iraq war deaths, knowingly, and the also once great journals like Science and popular publications like Scientific American sink further and further into the abyss of leftist dissembling and outright lying about things that could affect the world economy for a hundred years or more.
Anyone who truly loves Reason and Science (and all true Christians love genuine, pure Reason--I assume the same applies to Jews) can only be shocked and demoralized over what the Left is doing.
The effects are extremely insidious. Each generation of Americans becomes less and less able to think rationally. More and more bogus mytho-scientism is concocted to fill the role properly held by true religion.
It's enough to drive one to despair, or at least to stop paying attention to the media, pack up the guns and dogs, buy some horses, get some land up north and just admire God's beautiful creation without the constant buzzing of the soon-to-be and already damned.
