Aqua teen hunger force

According to media accounts there was mass hysteria on the streets of Boston today. I had no idea until it was all over. Which is really too bad since I could have used a little mass hysteria today. Apparently, people are a little on edge around these parts:
The ''packages'' in question are magnetic lights that pose no danger. They are part of an outdoor marketing campaign in 10 cities in support of Adult Swim’s animated television show Aqua Teen Hunger Force. They have been in place for two to three weeks in Boston, New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Atlanta, Seattle, Portland, Austin, San Francisco, and Philadelphia.
It would seem Deval Patrick would do well to learn the difference between a "hoax" and a "false alarm." While wingnuts were popping a woody, the really telling part of this story is that CNN thought it necessary to censor "the finger."

A line connected to another line. What will we tell the children? Here's a Flickr page of the "devices".
