To paraphrase: 'The dirty hippie scientists have come up with some dire predictions on global warming. Well, I've got a few of those myself: If we do anything to lower carbon emissions, China and India will choke us to death while our economy will be ruined. Moreover, any actions we take will cause unintended consequences, thereby making the problem worse. That, of course is not an alarmist prediction. Therefore I much prefer we do nothing at all and take our chances. Who knows, we might even avert the next ice age if we don't do anything.'
