Jamaica Plain

After years of living in decidedly downtown / urban settings, our new abode feels rather 'burb-ish, with a front porch, a back yard and space in the garage for the newly-purchased Honda Fit:


A beautiful park is located literally around the corner, which would be an ideal setting for that icon of suburbia, the golden retriever, to romp around in...just sayin'!

Actually, the new place is surprisingly close to everything: a 20 minute walk to work for me, a 10 minute walk to the closest "T" and there are a fair amount of eclectic shops and restaurants in JP to keep us busy.

Since for the first time ever we'll have room for guests...well, y'all should just come on over and see for yourselves!
