The leftist agenda of the Washington Times exposed

Recently, Captain Ed has been making noise about how the press displays a liberal agenda by pointing out that Bush opposes Kyoto. No, no--he expounds--it was the Senate in 1997 that rejected Kyoto, Bush is merely following the will of the Senate. Leaving aside for a moment the irony of the fact that Bush has decidedly opposed the current legislative branch's efforts on a number of issues, we find a liberal slant in all sorts of unexpected place these days:
His administration spurned the 1997 Kyoto Protocol requiring industrialized countries to reduce greenhouse gases to 1990 levels by 2012, mainly because China and India were exempted from the first round of reductions.
But...but...what about the Senate? You forgot the Senate!
