The problem with hydrofracking...

...isn't that some people fear it's dangerous, it's that we don't have enough evidence to tell whether it is or is not dangerous and from where that danger is coming (the fracking itself or the well casing or the disposal of hydrofracking waste water. Libertarians used to be in favor of greater information availability, apparently this has changed.
